| Business Card of the Month Design Contest |
So you think
you have what it takes to be a Designer? Want to win business cards for life? Want to
earn money from your design?
Now’s your chance to get into the holiday spirit early, because PrintFirm is
giving its talented customers the opportunity to win a share of thousands of
dollars in prizes as well as profiting from their design through royalties. We
know you were probably going to design your holiday card anyway, so why not win
a stocking full of prizes for it?
Because we’re continually impressed with our loyal customers’ graphic design
skills, in just a few weeks, we’ll open up our site for you to submit your own
designs for a holiday greeting card. Then you’ll be on your way to winning a
share of thousands of dollars in gift cards and free printing!
Beginning Oct. 15, contestants are encouraged to submit their images for holiday
greeting cards. Prizes will be awarded in two categories:
Comedy
and
General.
Your design will then be showcased on our blog site along with those of other
contestants, and online voting will commence.
Contestants may submit holiday card entries through Dec. 12th 2009. Finalist
voting will begin a few days later, on Dec. 16th. Winners will be announced on
Dec. 20th.

BUILDING YOUR PRESS-READY FILE
- Download the appropriate greeting card template from the button below.
- Open your greeting card template in CMYK color mode at 300 dpi.
- Using the template, build your file to the correct specs. Be sure to include
the necessary bleed, text safety and border requirements (if applicable).
- The template layer should be deleted once you have completed your design.
- Save your file as a JPG at 300 dpi and in CMYK color mode.

SUBMITTING YOUR ARTWORK FOR ENTRY TO CONTEST
(Starting on 10.31.09)
- Open a copy of your press-ready file and change the resolution to 72 dpi.
- Edit the overall size of your file to be 634 pixels x 453 pixels.
- Convert the color mode of your file to RGB.
- Save your new web file as an uncompressed JPG (with a new name).
- Upload your web file using the appropriate button below.
